🇮🇷|Iranian Jews and Christians Marching Alongside Muslims in Tehran. The West Never Shows You This. Because It Destroys Their Narrative.

Iran has the largest Jewish population in the Middle East outside of Israel. Estimates range from 8,000 to 25,000. They have a guaranteed seat in the Iranian parliament. They have synagogues in Tehran, Isfahan, and Shiraz. They have schools, community centers, and kosher butchers. Their synagogues have been designated as national heritage sites by the Iranian government.

Iran has over 300,000 Christians. Armenians and Assyrians. They have two guaranteed seats in parliament. They have churches that have stood for centuries. They have monasteries that are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

And now, they are marching alongside Muslims in Tehran. Against the United States. Against Israel.

Not because they are forced. Not because they are paid. Because they see what the US and Israel are doing to the region. Because they see the bombs falling on Gaza. Because they see the sanctions strangling their country. Because they see the same enemy that Muslims see.

The West Cannot Show You This

Why? Because the West's entire narrative about Iran depends on one thing: the lie that Iran is a homogenous, oppressive, Shia theocracy that persecutes minorities.

If Iranian Jews are marching alongside Muslims, that lie collapses. If Iranian Christians are protesting alongside Muslims, that lie collapses. If Iranian minorities have seats in parliament, that lie collapses.

So the West doesn't show you this. It shows you "women, life, freedom." It shows you "Iran oppresses minorities." It shows you "the regime is on the brink of collapse." And then it shows you a clip from a Persian-language channel funded by Saudi Arabia or the CIA, and calls it "news."

The Deeper Truth: Iran Is a Civilization, Not a Sect

Iran is not a "Shia state." Iran is a civilization.

◾ It has Persian, Azerbaijani, Kurdish, Arab, Baloch, Turkmen, and Armenian citizens.
◾ It has Muslims, Christians, Jews, Zoroastrians, and Baha'is.
◾ It has Shia, Sunni, Sufi, and secular Iranians.
◾It has liberals, conservatives, reformists, and radicals.
◾ It has poets, filmmakers, scientists, engineers, and athletes.

The 1979 revolution did not create a "Shia theocracy." It created a republic that includes all Iranians who accept the constitution and the revolutionary framework. Those who don't can leave and millions have. But those who stay including Jews and Christians are not "dhimmi." They are Iranians.

Why They March Against the US and Israel

Because the US and Israel are their common enemy.

◾The US imposed sanctions that affect all Iranians, regardless of religion.
◾ The US bombed hospitals and schools in Iran, regardless of who was inside.
◾The US targeted 85% of Iran's oil tankers, regardless of who owned them.
◾ The US threatened to shut down every Iranian airline, regardless of who was on board.
◾The US supported the MEK, a cult that killed Iranians regardless of their faith.
◾The US supported Jaish al-Adl, a terrorist group that kills Iranians regardless of their sect.
◾The US backed the Shah, a dictator who tortured Iranians regardless of their religion.

The US doesn't distinguish between Muslim, Christian, and Jewish Iranians. So why should Iranian Jews and Christians distinguish between Muslim, Christian, and Jewish Iranians?

They don't. They march together. Against the same enemy.

The Truth the West Fears

The West wants you to believe that Iran is a prison. That its minorities are hostages. That its non-Muslims are waiting to be liberated by American bombs.

But Iranian Jews are not waiting for American bombs. They are marching against American bombs. Iranian Christians are not waiting for American liberation. They are marching against American intervention.

Because they know what happened to the Jews and Christians of Iraq. After the US invaded, Iraq's Jewish community one of the oldest in the world was almost completely destroyed. Iraq's Christians also among the oldest in the world were massacred, displaced, and driven out. The US did not protect them. The US created the chaos that destroyed them.

Iranian Jews and Christians see what happened to their co-religionists in Iraq, Syria, and Gaza. They are not waiting for the same to happen to them. They are standing with their Muslim neighbors against the common enemy.

The West will never show you this. But it happened. And it is happening now. And it is the truth.

Me habían hablado de las pataletas de este chico, cuyo trabajo informativo sobre Cuba respeto mucho. Yo misma había visto algunas y finalmente, llegó a mi perfil a hacer pataleta.

Voy a responder con respeto y algo de historia porque el paralelo (no comparación) entre China y Venezuela es bastante claro.

Me da la impresión que, a diferencia de los cubanos, los venezolanos sí han aprendido de los chinos.

Allá por 1978, los chinos entendieron que habían llegado a un tope y que necesitaban desarrollar sus fuerzas productivas. Para eso, la única manera era abrir el mercado a empresas extranjeras.

Obvio que con su masa poblacional educada y sana, gracias a la política socialista de la era Mao, tenían capacidad de negociación. Así que intercambiaron acceso a su mercado y mano de obra barata por transferencia de tecnología y enseñanza de cómo hacer ciencia.

Parte del movimiento comunista mundial, criticó duramente a China. En especial, Albania que se posicionó como el Estado del "socialismo puro" y muchos partidos comunistas se alinearon con ellos.

Miren lo que es Albania hoy y miren a lo que es China hoy.

Por cierto, Cuba ya había roto con China cuando decidió tomar partido por la revisionista URSS que condenó injustamente a Stalin, pero esa es otra historia.

El camino no fue fácil y muchas veces los chinos se tuvieron que tragar sus palabras.

Por ejemplo, en 2001, un avión 🇺🇸 se estrelló contra otro 🇨🇳 en el Mar del Sur de China. El piloto chino murió. Luego, se metieron a espacio aéreo chino sin autorización para hacer un aterrizaje de emergencia.

Lo que debió ser un escándalo internacional, terminó con una negociación secreta a nivel diplomático.

Los chinos se tuvieron que tragar sus palabras. Acababan de entrar a la OMC por auspicio de EEUU y no tenían capacidad militar para responder.

Hoy, Xi Jinping es recibido en el aeropuerto por el mismo presidente de EEUU que no se cansa de adularlo.

Hoy, China rescata a Cuba mandando toneladas de arroz y paneles solares, cambiando la matriz energética de la isla. Por cierto, algo que le recomendaron hacer al gobierno cubano hace años y no hicieron. De nuevo, no escucharon a los chinos.

Y volviendo a Venezuela, pareciera que el chavismo sí aprendió de los chinos. Por eso, yo veo a un gobierno estratégico buscando su sobrevivencia.

En esta etapa no serán el farol del antiimperialismo en el mundo, pero las comunas seguirán, el movimiento político sobrevivirá, los venezolanos de a pie volverán a vivir vidas plenas mientras la oposición venezolana estará totalmente desestructurada.

No olvidemos tampoco que Venezuela es un país enorme cuya integridad territorial está en riesgo. No es lo mismo que ser una isla de 11 millones de habitantes.

¿Tendrá éxito? No lo sé. China casi se pierde a si misma. Si no fuera por Xi Jinping, hoy sería una cloaca de corrupción y abusos.

Son procesos que solo el tiempo dirá, pero yo elijo ponerme del lado de los venezolanos cansados y ni los voy a criticar por preferir tener comida, casa y tranquilidad después de tantos años de angustia.

Aplaudo los movimientos políticos inteligentes, que velan por su población porque al final, eso es lo único que importa.
