For anyone who may be interested, a couple of years ago I became involved in a legal dispute with the law firm Brabners (who at that time represented them on some matters). As a result of that dispute, I was introduced to journalist @TomLatchem, who explained that there appeared to be attempts to silence victims in relation to Sullivan’s interests. Somehow, I found myself drawn into it. A lot has happened between then and now: court appearances, extensive correspondence, and a number of people putting their necks on the line to make sure this programme happened. Do I believe the victims I have spoken to? Yes, absolutely. I also independently verified many of the details they shared with me. One thing I did not manage to do, which still frustrates me, was track down his former driver. A number of survivors described the same pattern: the driver would stop the car in a layby, offer the victim a cigarette, and give them a moment to compose themselves. From what they described, he appeared to know what was going on and, in those moments, showed them some compassion.
