🫂🇵🇸💔Dear friends, I didn’t talk much yesterday..We received sad news..A relative of my wife Ishraq died..This woman was very dear to me..She clearly loved me a lot and she was so nice and so wise. She died of old age, which is rare these days..She turned 90..What a life. The horrible things she lived through when she was young: she survived the Naqba..Oh, how horrific her last months on earth were..To see a city she saw being build, being demolished, flattened, bombed..Nothing is left of it. We are all sad. We have so many funerals to go to. So many people to worry about. We are generally still in mourning over certain loved ones, when we receive news of yet other loved ones dying..I am still traumatized by the bombing next door and the scenes I witnessed right after..My lovely cousins, they were so young and sweet and funny.I keep staring at this picture of them goofing around together for the camera. Why were they killed? Is nothing sacred in this world?.As soon as it is possible, I want to leave here and I want to take as many people and cats with me as I possibly can. Will you help me save my beloved brother-in-law and friend Mahmoud, and his lovely wife Warda? They are newly weds and they are so kind and wonderful.
