@metrolosangeles@metrolaalerts lots of weird timing today on the E line. Still no updates given at the Crenshaw station so riders just wait in ignorance. There needs to be train status information available here beyond smartphones.
@metrolosangeles no E line trains between DT and Santa Monica with no updates? The inconsistency should result in changes. Also, there is no service at the Crenshaw station to alert riders of anything related to timing/safety which is present for stations west of here.
@bvescobarx @metrolaalerts I second this request. There’s really no communication for people who aren’t adept to smartphones. Many stations have no means of delivering these really important updates. Pretty unfortunate other lines get constant marketing and these problems have yet to be improved.
@metrolaalerts Is this another repair that will stretch out for a week? Riders need to be able to plan accordingly and not receive daily false hope. The trains are unrideable at the current frequency.
@metrolosangeles This is a very helpful post for riders to appreciate the work being done. Thank you for the update and the commitment to this service.
@metrolaalerts I wish I could trust this to be true. It’s been “tomorrow” since Tuesday. Just say “next week” and be congratulated when you get it done earlier than planned.
Repair work on the A/E Line overhead power system will need to continue into Friday. We're hoping to finish work tomorrow. For tonight and Fri am:
👉🏾A & E trains run every 20 minutes
👉🏾If riding A & E Lines, please allow extra time
TY for your patience. Much appreciated.
@losangalyssa@metrolaalerts Also, I’m all for the all for the public use of the system, but without ambassadors we have a decent size of transient population squatting on seats while other riders have to wait for the next train due to this delay. Metro staff needs to be available.
@losangalyssa@metrolaalerts Same. Zero staff and no mediums for updates. The Transit app is ineffective as well. Truly a terrible experience right now.
@metrolaalerts Still no answer? The Transit app is not reflective of the delay, so now it’s just a guessing game with no way to know the extent of the tardy trains. Please advise.
