Highlight of address by the Hon Minister of Interior @BTOofficial as President Tinubu signs the NIMC act at the state house yesterday.
We didn’t realize we were making memories, we just knew we were working passionately.
Old but gold…
Immortalized moments…
A big throwback to March 26th, 2022.
We go tomorrow again…
The Naira hit ₦1386 to $1. This came the same day it was revealed that Nigeria is the sixth-largest contributor to global GDP growth in 2025. This is even as income inequality in Nigeria has improved to 33.9%, better than the US at 41.4% and China at 36%. Meanwhile, the inflation rate has fallen from a thirty-year high of 34.8% in December 2024 to a historic low of 15.2% in December 2025. Additionally, on Monday, January 5, 2026, the total market capitalisation of the Nigerian Stock Exchange hit and crossed the ₦100 trillion mark for the first time ever, and ended the day at ₦101.807 trillion.
Even more importantly, in less than two years, President Tinubu added $67 billion to Nigeria's GDP, moving us from a ₦269.29 trillion economy on May 29, 2023, when he became President, to ₦372.8 trillion today.
Do you want to ignore this and vote for Peter Obi, who is the only Anambra Governor since 1999 under whom poverty increased by 29.7%?
If you don't vote for Tinubu in 2027, what do you gain? Who else could have achieved this other than Asiwaju?

Investigators have linked a bulk of the wealth of Abubakar Malami, the former attorney-general of the federation, to a number of sources, TheCable can report.
At the top of the list are Paris Club refunds made to states, unpaid loans taken from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) under the anchor borrowers programme, and the restitution of Abacha loot to Nigeria.
Anyone carrying arms illegally in Nigeria is neither Fulani nor anything else, such a person should be regarded as a terrorist or bandit under the law.

The Federal Ministry of Education has dismissed reports on nationwide closure of schools in the country from Monday.
The message circulating on social media platforms is false, misleading, and did not originate from the Federal Government or the Ministry.
The man who has a logo, an anthem, a political and economic blueprint and a dedicated troop. The man, who above all, has the capacity and tenacity to wait for his time before saying Emilokan! The most prepared politician in Africa's history!!!

On this 65th Anniversary of our Independence, my message is hope and a call to action. The federal government will continue to do its part to fix the plumbing in our economy.
Now, we must all turn on the taps of productivity, innovation, and enterprise, just like the Ministry of Interior has done with our travel passports, by quickening the processing.
In this regard, I urge the sub-national entities to join us in nation-building. Let us be a nation of producers, not just consumers. Let us farm our land and build factories to process our produce. Let us patronise ‘Made-in-Nigeria’ goods. I say Nigeria first. Let us pay our taxes.
Finally, let all hands be on deck. Let us believe, once more, in the boundless potential of our great nation.
With Almighty God on our side, I can assure you that the dawn of a new, prosperous, self-reliant Nigeria is here.
Happy 65th Independence Anniversary, and may God continue to bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
