Building in public day 40, I was off the twitter for few days, just checking how this change will impact the views. My new focus is automate as much as possible of my workflows. Before automatic you just need to write down what you re doing to automate e2e. I started with posting - blogs (seo) plus the social media posts (except Twitter). All Other i will fire away on auto with human in the loop (for now)
I don't know If this is me but Claude started to tell me you are absolutely right which gives GPT vibes from the past. Haven't seen such a stupid errors or made up stuff for a long time with Claude
@cesaralvarezll the contract thing is sneaky good. it turns the onboarding into a tiny commitment device which is the actual job of onboarding. stealing this for my next project tbh
@moshhamedani felt this. tried 3 agents at once and ended up just spinning between tabs without actually finishing anything. one agent one task one cup of coffee is still the most output I've ever gotten
@rileybrown love the optimism but the part agents will struggle most with is App Store review, not the building. one rejection cycle eats a week of momentum. unless Apple changes the review side this stays human bottlenecked for a while imo
@jxnlco I know what I miss from claude - a place to see created workflows a bit like n8n - simple ui showing my own scheduled tasks or routines and how they link to each other - now I need to do it on the paper :)
@Suryanshti777 have you actually run it on a real repo yet, like over 100k lines? the demos always look great then you point it at your real codebase and the graph either explodes or misses half the imports
fair warning but the practical answer for solo devs cant just be never, anyway I found out that using generic code skill from https://t.co/bXjvXExhzm is good enough (from verse, Microsoft etc) + my own skills with create skill from anthropic - works way better than adopting some else's ideas
@lubinho_k I'm using 200 claude sub but will trim it next month - I'm the bottle neck - I have started so many projects, and not able to complete most of them as still very tempting to add new ones :) so for me claude (100) plus cursor from next month
@Priyansh_31Dec somewhere between both takes is the truth I think. I cant code at a senior level but with Claude I can ship a working SaaS this month, which I couldnt do a year ago. that does not make me a great engineer, just a builder who can finally finish things
@AlfieJCarter I found out that skills makes better sense if done for your specific workflow - it is so easy to create new skills - tailored for what I do, using less and less the skills marketplaces tbh
@Bencera curious how that actually worked in practice, was it doing the calls or just the cold outreach and back and forth on terms. this is the kind of story that makes me want to throw out my whole stack and start over
