@PreseasonSora @NRL He was just jogging in field for Dragons first try
(Yes it was a kick to the winger that the winger should have handled, but Latrell gets savaged mercilessly in those situations even though they happen to all fullbacks).
@9_Moley Has anyone ever been penalised for hip to head contact before yesterday?
I know everyone has a Latrell Hate Boner and want to join the lynch mob.
Accidents happen in league, people with the Latrell hate blinkers on can't see the consequences for what they want (teddy and

@desmoneyfr@daniel_leatham@9_Moley Y'all do realise Broncos, Super League and News Limited were all part of the same organisation in 1997 right?
Again, in the superleague era, were everyone was getting these deals and there was no salary cap, why would there need to be under the table deals.
@daniel_leatham@desmoneyfr@9_Moley Definitely. If this was any years outside of 1995-1997 it'd be sus.
But there was literally no need for illegal payments in those 3 years.
@desmoneyfr@daniel_leatham@9_Moley Nag of course. I'm wrong.
The Broncos were obviously cheating the cap In the year there was no Salary Cap.
I'm the biggest broncos hater there is, I only need the smallest excuse to hate them, but cheating a non-existent cap is even a hard sell for me
@daniel_leatham@desmoneyfr@9_Moley Like literally listen to what he says.
He doesn't explain it the best, but with even the simplest understanding of the superleague war it makes sense
@desmoneyfr@daniel_leatham@9_Moley Yea illegal payments probably happened when the nrl reformed and the salary cap was put in place...
But Mundine was at the Broncos in 1997.. when players got sign + Salary from the league they played in, plus a club contract and there was no cap in super league.
@desmoneyfr@daniel_leatham@9_Moley Sure. There wasn't even a salary cap in the 1997 superleague so broncos were paying him super secret extra 100k payments for.... reasons.
Y'all dumb as hell
@daniel_leatham@desmoneyfr@9_Moley The fact that 1997 superleague didn't even have a salary cap meant that the broncos wouldn't have even had to have made under the table payments
@daniel_leatham@desmoneyfr@9_Moley He didn't say broncos played the 100k. He said broncos payed him 350k..
Superleague payed sign on fees plus yearly contracts, ARL as well.. like this is common. Fittler for example for 300k up front from arl plus 600k a season... then he got his Roosters contract
@desmoneyfr@daniel_leatham@9_Moley Yes 100k in the bag. Broncos plus superleague money.
The don't know if I should say this is because he got all 3 years of his superleague money in 1 year and superleague only lasted 1 year.. he was back at the Dragons by year 2 of that deal.
It's not that hard to understand
@desmoneyfr@daniel_leatham@9_Moley So in 1997 he got
- His superleague sign on fee- $100k
- Broncos salary - $350k
- Superleague salary $100k per year all given in one year
He got $750k in 1997
No mention of paper bags, under the table or illegal deals. And it lines up with similar stories from others in 95-97
@desmoneyfr@daniel_leatham@9_Moley Listened to it about 10 times.
He says he got a 100k sign on bonus. He says he got 350k from broncos plus 100k from superleague so his annual salary was 450k. At this point we are up to 550k. Then he says actually got all his superleague money in the first year.
