@DrMichaelScoma This is why you’re such an excellent doctor. You don’t limit your exploration and treatment to just one narrow scope. You do what every good doctor should do— think about the whole picture
@freshheroo@gymrat_bookworm But if you have any abnormal count of the antibodies, you certainly should consult a neurologist. Because just because it’s a borderline positive doesn’t mean you can’t have AAG. You definitely still can
@freshheroo@gymrat_bookworm Yes, my levels were somewhere around 0.13. I was tested at LabCorp. From what Dr. Vernino told me (the researcher who discovered the antibodies) low levels like that aren’t usually indicative of AAG, but they’re sometimes present in people w/ POTS and other autonomic disorders
@DrMichaelScoma And this is why you’re such an excellent doctor. You give ample time, care, thought, and personalization into treating your patients to help them heal, not just mask the symptoms. Thank you!
Wake Forest just had a win literally stolen from them against #16 Georgia Tech.
3rd & 5, 1:48 left, Georgia Tech has a defender clearly offsides.
Wake QB, Robby Ashford, thinks they have a free play and chucks it deep (incomplete) to try to capitalize, but the refs never threw a flag after the blatant offsides. Wake loses their 3rd down and is forced to punt.
Georgia Tech was out of timeouts, so that penalty should’ve given Wake a 1st down where they could kneel the game out and win 23-20.
GT benefited from jumping offsides and it ended up leading them to a win.
Demon Deacons completely robbed 💔
