Flackwell Heath Football Club are saddened to announce that long serving player Jack Shakespeare has decided to leave the club. Jack has been with the club for over 5 years playing a huge part in the clubs recent success and was vital in our league winning side. Although we are sad to see fan favourite Jack moving on we wish him all the best in his next chapter and hope to maybe see him back at Wilks Park one day. Jack was at our game on Tuesday to say his goodbyes and wanted to send this message…..

“I just want to say a massive thankyou to everyone at the club that has been there on my journey since I started 5 years ago. I wouldn’t be where I am now without all the hard work and time people have put into me since joining giving me memories that I will remember for life.

I wanted to say a special thanks to the chairman Terry who has always put the club above himself and never given up on making the experiences we’ve all had possible even when times were tough. Flackwell wouldn’t be where they are without him.

I also want to thank all my teammates and the Gaffers Chris and Shoney for everything they’ve done for me personally, and the club, aswell as all the coaches and all the people that do the tireless work behind the scenes at the club that make it run so smoothly as they’ve all played such a massive part in all the clubs success we’ve had over the years.

I now feel like it’s time for a new challenge and I wish the club nothing but the best moving forward. ❤️⚽️”
