@bestcanton7@Heccles94 Worth note that only Zarah is officially registered as one of their MPs. Corbyn and co seem to stand by the party being an organisation which backs aligned independents at the moment.
@JoshHousden A lot of people are forgetting that Polanski’s whole political career has been in London. He lives in London, represents his constituents there as an AM and has stood in elections there. I’m sure he’d be getting worse if he had stood in GM as a London resident (not a dig!)
@PekTinNUFC @jbe232315423@ZackPolanski On Nuclear I’d stress that there is the massive issue of importing a finite resource. It would mean depending on other countries, in many cases ones with horrific workplace safety. Renewables do also have material sourcing issues, but in the long run they are more sustainable.
@GrnElects@YouGov@TheGreenParty@ZackPolanski@jeremycorbyn The Your Party debacle really turned me off Corbyn. I appreciate what they tried to do, but his shows his time had passed. Meanwhile Zack has been fantastic, unapolagetically progressive and more focused on action than semantics.
@insurgentmuse@GrnElects@ZackPolanski@Independent It is the candidate who is elected, not the party. But constituents should have a right to recall for change in party affiliation since it’s still on the ballot.
@j0s3tt4 They’ll use it as yet another excuse for anti-intellectualism, somehow it will be the college’s fault for their “woke leftist agenda” simply for happening on their grounds
@UKLabour This comment has no context, Polanski said this in reference to Trump’s lack of reliability and erratic behaviour in suggesting to annex other NATO members: https://t.co/moSIEk1Xfo
I am sickened by the relentless demonisation of refugees.
No refugee underfunded a school.
No refugee closed a hospital.
No refugee took away support from the sick and disabled.
We need solutions not scapegoats. Stop blaming refugees and tax the rich instead!
