Delighted to see Professor Richard Wiseman’s brilliant first children’s non-fiction book, MAGIC YOUR MIND HAPPY, flagged in the Bookseller magazine’s round-up for May.
Lots of festival appearances already booked, including Hay, Edinburgh Science and more.
Have you seen the Spring edition of the Homeport magazine? On page 59 you'll find the Reading Force & Homeport book review of - Orangutan can't draw comics, but you can!

@jamiesmart My day rate averages out about £300 a day, but can vary depending on complexity of job, deadlines etc
For what is worth, here’s some bits here (give you an idea of what that gets you, generally turn these round in a couple of weeks) https://t.co/r45eKlDtNw
@jamiesmart So if maybe be on a day rate if I’m helping go from nothing to something (storyboard/animatic)… once a storyboard exists, then I could price the job (Generally based on a day rate, but obvs flexible depending on complexity. How much other stuff I’m doing (character design etc)
Happy Publication Day for Orangutan Can't Draw Comics, But You Can! Thanks so much to @lukenool and Mr Griff for their hard work on this project. Learn all about the art of creating a comic book and have a go yourself! #comicbook#ComicArt#lovedrawing
Yay check out the new book I illustrated, it literally is a shower of… wonderfully put together hilariously historical poo stories from down the ages. Pull up a stool.

Thinking about that time in the 2000’s when I made this website because Dazed & Confused magazine took 9 months to pay me for a commissioned illustration.
Had a lot of fun scoring Coyote Vs Acme. As no-one will be able to hear it now, due to bizarre anti-art studio financial shenanigans I will never understand, here is a bit of behind the scenes footage of our “Meep Meep” Roadrunner choir, with apologies to Tchaikovsky…
