@histories_arch The English breakfast of egg and bacon, etc goes back to the Norman invasion. The Norman overlords only allowed the Anglo Saxons/English to keep chickens and pigs hence why even in England it was called the English breakfast, by the Normans. We've been eating it for a 1k years.
