10+ yrs growing consumer products to hundreds of millions in revenue. wikibuy, atlas coffee, etc. now 100% focused on ai transformation. let’s trade notes ☕️
@helloitsaustin the reason they don’t get caught or fixed isn't usually ignorance, it's prioritization math. the manual cost never justified the attention against shipping the next big thing.
agents/cowork change that calculus. so much qa suddenly crosses the ROI threshold for the first time.
@helloitsaustin 3 is so underrated and QA is the best example i've found.
teams focus on the big swings - new products, LPs, creative. but underneath there are silent breaks EVERYWHERE. dead URLs, pixel misfires, busted UTMs, etc. each one is small but collectively they cost you 10-20%..
Founders get backed early. Now it’s time employees do too. Proud to launch our $300M Employee Liquidity Fund to help @Cyberstarts1 portfolio employees unlock value while staying focused on building. Cyberstarts surpasses $1B in capital commitments. Talent-first VC. Let’s go. https://t.co/wJVAmR5mKn

@social_savannah This is great!
In terms of test setup, do you actually use the split testing tool? Or do you throw both ads in an ad set and let the algo choose the winner?
Short thread on something I wish I had understood much better 10 years ago:
If you are ambitious, there are basically two games you can play at a startup
Many people early in their careers (especially those from big tech, consulting, finance) play the wrong game, and lose both
@theSamParr Just did this and about to do it again.
- Don't forget the entry permit: https://t.co/3rWBoNoHpy

@ecomchasedimond Such an impactful practice!
And, generally true for everything in marketing (life?). Collect and study the greats + anything that makes you stop and read.
You can have the most talented people in the world, but if you have a crappy team operating model, they will fail.
I've been reading about Youtube's operating model used during their hyper-growth years.
Some great advice on meetings.
New York’s response to what‘s been happening in Austin and Miami.. 😝
