AXA deny policy coverage claiming the treatment is not supported by high quality clinical trial evidence (it is) and is not practiced widely in the UK (it is for rare ocular melonoma sufferers).

so certain aspects of AXA PPP’s policy wording can be determined by the Courts in order to oblige them to fund the treatment Carol and others require.

Carol requires treatment costing circa £160,000 which we say IS COVERED on her COMPREHENSIVE CANCER COVER AXA policy….
