This bird stands out with its large, colorful beak, about 20cm long. They use this beak to attract females during the breeding season and as a very good defensive weapon.
Ramphastos sulfuratus birds live in forests throughout Central and South America, their plumage is mainly black with a yellow throat and chest. This bird species often lives in flocks of about 30 members in natural holes or holes made by woodpeckers in tree trunks, their food is mainly insects, lizards and eggs.
