I've now updated my view to say this kid is a top talent. I don't know why he's playing at such a low level, but I can't remember recently watching a youth player in the USA dominate to such a degree.
His lack of exposure confuses me, but I won't contribute to that any longer.
2013 born 🇺🇸🇩🇪🇩🇴 center-midfielder, Lorenzo Williams has signed with Mainz from Kaiserslautern, joining a fairly large contingent of Americans at the Academy.
This 🇵🇷 team is interesting because players like Myles Johnson, Miguel Coriano, Jaxon Ludwick, and Daniel Valle could be on a USYNT team. Even other names on that roster are emerging. The overall level of talent scouting by their federation has improved.
The #U15BNT earn a 3-0 win over Switzerland and get their second-straight win at the Vlatko Marković International Tournament 💪

The '09 CB should totally be called into a US U-17 camp. He's earned a chance. I don't know if he's definitely better than the options we already have (it's a strong CB crop for 09's), but he's done well this season and has an interesting skillset.
Sebastian Tejada was one of NYCFC U-15's standout players in the GA Cup. A composed ‘6’ with strong technical ability and game understanding, he dictates tempo, connects lines, and brings balance to his team. Not flashy — just consistently effective.
The U.S. has 330 million people and covers about 3.8 million square miles. That is 237x Netherlands.
Think about how much young soccer talent is slipping through the cracks.

This fits with what has been described about 🇺🇲YNTs under Crocker
Often calling up replacement-level prospects who are limited physically/athletically and have decent, not top technical ability. A relative de-emphasis on raw upside -- and on recruiting dual-nats raised abroad
Davian Kimbrough is one of the few 🇺🇲🇲🇽 who is taking full advantage of not being tied down. It has its pros and cons, but undoubtedly leaves the door open to both countries.
There are rumors from a reliable source that Belgian youth international AM/RW Noa Ojea Cobiella (RSC Anderlecht, 2009) is 🇺🇸 eligible. He has been one of the top players at the Futures Cup which started this weekend in Amsterdam. His ball mastery, game understanding, and ability to change pace and misdirect defenders are at an elite level. Undersized but quick and highly deceptive. If eligible, he needs to be a top dual-national target.
I watch this kid during the season and he was undoubtedly the best player on his team, but what he's doing in this tournament has shatter all expectations. What a player! 🇭🇳
If you're watching the GA Cup broadcast right now — what #49 Christopher Batiz is doing for Seattle Sounders is not an aberration. He's been the most dominant player at this tournament, start to finish. A remarkable run, carrying an otherwise average Seattle team deep into the tournament.
She is a player with impressive athleticism and pace, and possesses a direct style of play in the final third. Her technique is solid in terms of ball control and first touch, and as she adds more skills in 1v1 situations will become a very complete player.
One to watch.
Emily Bernachea (2012) 🇺🇲🇦🇷, winger, is one of the most outstanding players so far. She scored 2 goals in 3 games, being the youngest player on the All-Star teams. She has even played with Florida United U17 this season.
The USA U18s drew Portugal 1-1 this morning. Here was the US goal scored by LA Galaxy winger Eric Preston and assisted by Philadelphia Union midfielder Kellan LeBlanc.
