The driver of this Kia Cee’d chose not to stop for us, during a short pursuit the new shift Sgt deployed stinger. The driver then took his chances on foot, but failed. Turns out he’s disqualified (add a couple more offences to the list!)

We conducted a speed operation on Heartlands Parkway tonight (40 MPH restriction). In an hour we stopped 17 motorists for a variety of speeds. This Lamborghini being the worst offender, captured doing 95 MPH!! All drivers reported #Fatal4 #SlowDown #SpeedKills #SafetyForAll

We caught up with an alleged domestic abuser after a quick-thinking cop commandeered a man’s pedal cycle to pursue the suspect.

The PC’s body-worn camera shows the him running after the man in Hob Moor Rd before asking a cyclist if he could borrow his mountain bike. 🚲👮

Great teamwork last night between B Unit Sutton Coldfield @ResponseWMP, @WestMidsFire and @OFFICIALWMAS in very difficult circumstances.

Early this morning, crews attended a severe house fire in Erdington with the first crew arriving in under 3 minutes. Firefighters used 1 main water jet and 2 hose reels to put out the blaze. 4 children were rescued from the property and the confirmed cause of the fire is arson.
