Florida Democratic Senate nominee Angie Nixon unloaded on Gov. Ron DeSantis, accusing him of creating a climate of racial hostility in the state.

Nixon pointed to the 2023 Jacksonville shooting that killed three Black people, saying DeSantis had “struck the match, lit the flame, and fanned it with all of his hateful rhetoric.”

She also blasted his attacks on voting rights, protest laws, and immigrants, saying: “I cannot stand Ron DeSantis, like, with a passion.”

And if he runs for office again? “Angie Nixon is going to be on that ass.”
