Il discorso su Brimsley e Reynolds non ha senso: nei libri non esiste una loro storia, quindi ci sta che la serie la costruisca da zero.
Il punto, semmai, è Francesca: nei romanzi ha un percorso preciso e delicato, legato all’infertilità e al modo in cui vive amore, perdita e desiderio di maternità. Non è un dettaglio, è parte della sua identità narrativa.
Cambiare quell’asse non è automaticamente sbagliato, ma significa rinunciare a una certa rappresentazione. Per questo alcune persone criticano: non per attaccare altre storyline, ma perché riconoscono il valore di quella originale.
È una posizione legittima, senza bisogno di trasformarla in una guerra tra fazioni
