“When party leadership uses the term ‘unity,’ they often seem to mean ‘unanimous agreement with our pre-selected choices.’ But true unity was what I saw in Detroit: a massive, diverse group of people finally feeling like their party might actually listen to them.”

Party members sent a message delivering victories for anti-war progressives at the Michigan Democratic Party convention tonight. Garlin Gilchrist, Eli Savit and Amir Makled were winners over Suzanne Shkreli, Karen McDonald and Jordan Acker.
Many expensive consultants would have told Zohran to backtrack on his pro-Palestine stance. He didn’t, staying true to his authentic beliefs. This maintained good faith from his core supporters, earned respect from moveable middle, and pissed off those who already opposed him.
In the words of Nelson Mandela: it always seems impossible until it’s done.
My friends, it is done. And you are the ones who did it.
I am honored to be your Democratic nominee for the Mayor of New York City.
Calling someone trying to stop a genocide a clout chaser is extremely telling coming from a careerist hack more upset about losing his proximity to power than all the damage he caused to the country in the process by lying about biden for years
@DonavanMI13 I’ve seen firsthand how hard Donavan fights for working people, not just with words, but with action. He shows up, he listens, and he gets things done. Michigan deserves that kind of leadership in Congress. MI-13 deserves someone like him who never forgets who he’s fighting for.
Our community deserves a Representative who actually knows how much groceries cost — and why that cost matters for families.
Instead, #MI13 has an out-of-touch multimillionaire who has more in common with Trump & Elon than any of us.
I'm running to replace him. Are you with me?
@MIAttyGen U didn’t bring justice to Flint. U let charges against those responsible for the water crisis fall apart. U shut down investigations on MSU officials who enabled L Nassar. U stalled on Line 5. But u had time to raid the homes of students?
This is who u choose to target?
President Trump claimed he ended "all censorship" and restored free speech in America.
He also threatened to expel, jail, and deport college students protesting the Israeli government’s genocide. He should reread the First Amendment.
This president is openly calling for ethnic cleansing while sitting next to a genocidal war criminal. He’s perfectly fine cutting off working Americans from federal funds while the funding to the Israeli government continues flowing.
No excuses. Every single one of my Democratic colleagues should be voting against this bill that gives Trump and his incoming administration dictatorial powers to target nonprofit organizations as political enemies without due process.
Rashida won in a state Kamala lost, in districts that flipped from Biden to Trump. These people didn’t suddenly turn right wing, they were actively lost by the Democrats who chose to ignore and patronize them.
The people who differ on strategy from you today may not be your enemies. Because this ballot won’t save Gaza in either direction. Our coalitions could. They are worth protecting, because we have work to do tomorrow. A lot of work.
CNN has played a central role in normalizing this kind of open anti-Arab, anti-Muslim, and anti-Palestinian hate, and it’s sadly totally unsurprising to see such disgusting statements aired so casually on its network now.
The first case of #Polio in more than 25 years, but no one will care because the baby is Palestinian.
I'm so saddened and ashamed of our country looking away and pretending they are trying to stop this madness. We don't want your thoughts and prayers.
We need action.
I live in a swing state and was just called by my county's Democratic Party asking for me to vote.
I asked who do I vote for to stop genocide?
He sighed and said, "You're not the first person to ask me that."
