@kantsak Dog my parents in that same era came from nothing, bought land, property, cars, lost they money on cash plus etc and still came out good, no one can convince me this economy normal
What Max is alluding to here, is that the current administration has virtually no consumer protections operation whatsoever, and that's by design, to be as business friendly as possible.
There's also the fact that the Supreme Court is extremely corporate friendly.
So there's no legal avenue in the United States to realistically challenge Sony, or any large multibillion dollar firm.
This is all of a result of our current trend in electoral politics. Who we vote into office matters, and there are downstream effects that you wouldn't normally connect that flow out of who controls the American government.
I know a LOT of people have varied opinions on Max Dood, but on this point, he's actually right.
As a PC nigga, it’s wild seeing PC niggas do that thing where they act like everyone can just buy a PC willy nilly. Like the entire issue with gaming isn’t affordability rn☠️
Gamers hate when anybody talks about real politics but capitalism is working the exact way it was designed and is going to price you out of gaming. You will own nothing. You will not be able to afford even borrowing the license. The companies making games are literally dying.
Mind you we paid more to be able to use physical disks on the PS5. One of the main selling points was still being able to play your physical PS4 disks.

We will not be able to freely access the movies, books, and music that we have loved. I would be a have-not. That's what I'm afraid of. This is not greed.

Eventually, even digital data will no longer be owned by individuals on their own initiative. Whenever there is a major change or accident in the world, in a country, in a government, in an idea, in a trend, access to it may suddenly be cut off.
Sony is currently charging $70 for God of War Ragnarok digitally. It is $32 at Wal-Mart. The game is 4 years old.
People will no longer have options after 2028 and will HAVE to go directly to Sony’s digital storefront and pay whatever PlayStation says.
The inequalities in resources due to climate change are so real. Wealthier countries, major contributors to climate change, will be able to implement quick fixes while regions like the Caribbean, with a smaller carbon footprint, a suffer from heat and hurricanes.
Caribbean leaders have been sounding the alarm on the devastating impact of climate change for some years now.
No one really listened, but now it reach at your front door and across Europe everyone wants to talk about solutions and urgent action.
Shame on you!
“I lost my daughter, my grandson and my granddaughter, who was due to be born.”
People in Venezuela are desperately searching for their loved ones after massive twin earthquakes struck just seconds apart.
Someone said it in Spanish, but I'll say it in English so that as many people as possible know: Venezuelans currently don't have aid and are unprepared for this because the regime has stolen all the resources that guarantee the security and stability of the Venezuelan people
Aight. It's happening.

Those who won't stand by Cuba now weren't with Cuba to begin with.
Enough of the Puritanism, enough of the spectator/armchair behaviour, enough of the whiny defeatism.
