You wanting to keep YOUR child from reading a book with a gay main character doesn’t mean you get to decide if MY child can.
Your desire to keep YOUR child from learning ACCURATE black history doesn’t mean MY child doesn’t get to.
And just because YOU’RE offended by Michelangelo‘s work, doesn’t mean MY child shouldn’t see it.
Crying “parents rights” doesn’t mean YOU have the right to parent MY kid. Or ANYONE else’s.
So cut the shit.
The calculated attacks on public education and accurate information will only further these problems. The same people pulling books of of children’s shelves and prosecuting teachers are those who fail to act when these events occur. It is not a coincidence.

Today a spider was hanging from the ceiling, and my students noticed it but continued to take notes and pay attention to my presentation. That is how amazing I am at classroom management.
I’m kidding. It was absolute chaos. Students screamed, until I caught it.
