10 Years of Streaming and I've never done an IRL Stream
Today was the Day! We made Destiny 2 Engram Cookies for #DawningCreation2025 !! @Destiny2Team@DestinyTheGame#Destiny2art
"iLulu Legendary Engrams!" - Cryptarch better be ready!
See Below for Recipe + more Clips!
Last Season I didn't get a Gold Misriah until the very final weekend
I cannot wait to actually use this :P (Or donate it to the Cryo Loot Pool)
Our Strat - Kill bots at 1st POI - Pick up tags, give to one person (Triage) - they run to complex kill bots if need enough to get 7 tags - start opening the rooms
Rest the Team - Kill bots; Split up POIs, Activate the Network Towers and hope to get a key!
Sometimes it's pure RNG - You don't have a ton of time to kill boss.
Top area of the arena has some decent cover spots to shoot the boss from!
Open loot door by shooting all blue buttons (still working on how to do final extra loot door - not sure yet on that)
@Daylightfire Just an fyi sponsored night marsh is not as easy as the video makes it out… been playing for a few hours and it’s pure RNG on if you get a key in time do do all three waves of bosses. It really isn’t this super easy thing everyone can do….
I think the increased loot is to prevent new players from logging in and turning the game off never to be played again.
Last season if you failed to exfil you could play for hrs and get almost nothing. That turned people away.
Is it a lot? Sure, but we need more players! Not just streamers who can play non-stop and then say they have too much loot when a few others may only get a few hrs a week.
We should be shouting the increased loot and pve lite mode to try to bring more people into this game!
I'm in a few minds over the progression pace atm
1. The higher tier loot drops is your chance to invest into the cradle as it'll become expensive over time (as far as I can tell?)
2. The trace system can be leveraged to slow down progression and loot acquisition via a patch or other to alleviate this
3. Sponsored Survival deffinitely shouldn't have had the same loot pool as normal night marsh
4. We have a whole season of knowledge on the fastest path to progress via hotspots, map knowledge and loot knowledge, as well as skill to have more successful runs
5. This could be a result of the free to play week to entice players (which is valid imo)
6. The acceleration of rep gains feels fine atm but might be contributing to the above issues too
I do feel the appeal of this progression as I only get a few hours on week nights to game but the rich will be bonkers rich very fast at this pace.
Not sure where the middle ground is!
Nightmarsh Starting Now!! I've only played a few matches prior to today!
Let's try to do the new Puzzle / Explore this Map! (Possible need 1 more Runner!)
Live Now: https://t.co/TBJdV8jRuk
On the flip side; a brand new player logging in doesn’t know where the good / newest loot is; it’ll take them a while to learn that naturally if they don’t want to watch guides and just play - they will not be getting the best stuff instantly with normal play. One of my crew fill yesterday had no idea there was a puzzle and extra area in complex - I crew filled last evening and none of them went to complex for that; just doing some contracts and exploring the map…. Sure people who know the progression and grind will go for it and I hope to do it myself as well but I’m sure I’ll lose it just as quickly in cryo / ranked / outpost, ect.
@_Lexa_v I don’t think they should reset personally; of the few people I regularly play with I only know 1 other who also has gotten them. I just got mine last weekend so am excited to be able to do more compiler runs with friends next season to actually be able to use some of the loot.
@ScottyDo48 The first few weeks in Cryo were definitely tough for me; barely exfilled and I did feel somewhat defeated but I just kept going back in; many just crew fill so I could learn the map - I watched other people play it and literally studied the map! It paid off :)
I am one happy Runner! (sorry for all Marathon tweets!)
Ended the evening in true Marathon Fashion w/ my 3rd compiler kill of the day - We killed 2 teams - One of them had DNA sequence - Our 3rd was crew fill; had never done Compiler - so we had to do it!
Took us 4 DPS phases but we did it! We weren't expecting compiler so definitely not optimized.
We actually helped multiple people with their first compiler kills today and that feels really good!
I only wish I had been able to kill the compiler earlier on in the season to use the loot more - Looking forward to season 2!!
@ScottyDo48 It has honestly just made me so happy recently with accomplishing some of my goals and getting to game with my friends! I've always shared gaming moments I'm super passionate about regardless of the game =) But it has been a lot I do realize :p
@RookieRunner315@MarathonTheGame We had nothing to lose so when we found a team we just broadcasted for people to join us! No hesitations from the other team - it was all LETS DO IT!
@DemizeFPS Honestly the hardest part is getting key 6 subroutine. Once you have someone who has that; compiler is actually easier to do! Since DNA access cards can be in any vault you get multiple chances at compiler.
Had one more DNA key - We found a 3rd on LFG who hadn't done Compiler yet
WE GOT 2 MORE TEAMS TO JOIN US!
Everyone was SO happy; This was truly a blast! Just lots of smiles/laughs all around
The end of the Season make friends in game has truly been fun!
Ended the Season with a Multi-Team Compiler Kill!
Not quite the full lobby but was fun none the less!
Was Space and Pyle's first kill also!
(Thanks Team that almost killed us but then joined us!)
Was definitely a fun moment! Glad I got to do it!
