if you're able to make your antagonist interesting while not actively trying to redeem him, you have created a good antagonist.
with that being said, "Bon" and Felix Kranken are good antagonists

@deathofempathy not really trying to redeem him just adding depth to his character. you wanted him to stay a mystery through the entire series? i, personally, think that'd sucked a little bit and i love how they're adding more stuff onto his character despite him being literally satan

The "You are Happy. Say it." feels so much more desperate and a bit self-conscious. He didn't want to put Rosemary through ALL that pain only for her to not be happy, so he begged for Rosemary to repeat back that she was happy. wow
