We designed a GPT-1 style transformer model from scratch and ran our first pre-training experiment.
Today, I interacted with the model for the first time.
In this video, I shared the first results, what worked, and where we’re heading next.
Big thank you to everyone supporting the research, contributing resources, donating, and following the journey this early.
Okay so I wasn't going to say anything but... I can't keep this to myself 😭.
Anthropic (yes, the company behind Claude AI) quietly dropped a bunch of completely free AI mastery courses, and they are handing out official certificates at the end.
For $0.00. Zero naira. Nothing. Free.
I stumbled across it on Sunday Abegunde's page yesterday and honestly I almost scrolled past it because it sounded too good to be true. But I went and checked it myself and it is real.
The courses are actually solid, not those shallow "intro to AI" types that just tell you ChatGPT exists.
These ones go deep.
The link is https://t.co/4l6yE1alXw, go check it out, grab a course, grab the cert.
We are literally in the era where the people building the AI are giving away education on how to use it for free. Please don't sleep on this. Your future self will thank you. 🙏
It has been 30 days we came out with courage and fear of the unknown.
"How possible is it to get ₦62,000,000 to save Marycynthia's life?" "Where do we see that kind of money?"
More than 30 days surrounded by hospital walls, smell of medication, uncertainty and prayers, Marycynthia surviving each day is a miracle.
We believe that help doesn't have to come from one place or a person. If many people give a little, hope becomes possible, look how far we've come with you on our side. Thank you for standing with us so far, we are grateful.🙏
Your kindness, your support, your repost, your tags can change this story. Every engagement counts more than we realize.
No amount is little.🙏

I’ve been seeing a lot of people talk about “networking” at Moonshot
A few people actually walked up to me yesterday to “network,” and honestly,
you could tell they were trying to do the thing – to network
So let me just drop some anchors if you you actually want to meet people or make new friends.
The easiest way to connect with anybody is to connect from a place of shared value or shared interest.
That’s the first thing.
You don’t walk up to a random stranger and go, “Hey, I want to connect with you.” Nobody does that in real life.
But if you approach from a place of genuine interest in them, what they do, or something you both like, it becomes way easier.
Let me give you an example.
I work in marketing.
Let’s say I’m at Moonshot and I see a developer I want to talk to. On paper, we have nothing in common.
But maybe I notice his tote bag, it’s a brand I’ve seen on Instagram.
I could say: “Hey, you shop with this brand? I really like them. I got XYZ from them recently.”
Now, I’ve called out a shared interest.
He’ll probably light up and say something like, “Yeah, I got this recently,” or “Oh really?” and now there’s flow.
From there, I can ask, “When did you get to the event?” or “How’s it been so far?” and it becomes a more seamless conversation.
Connection needs to happen organically. It takes away the pressure and performance of “trying” to connect because you don’t perform connection. It just happens.
If you want to engineer it, start from a place of shared interest and shared interest doesn’t have to be about work.
It could be a quirk, a piece of jewelry, a tote bag, a random comment that lights someone up.
Also, people always think they have to collect contacts immediately. You don’t.
Sometimes, you talk to someone once, and the next time you see them, that’s when you properly connect.
That’s why being intentional matters. It's not a numbers game.
Sometimes, I only walk up to people I’ve already interacted with online because then I have a reference point.
I can say, “Hey, I saw your post about XYZ,” and start from there.
At the end of the day, the goal is to make real human connections, not just gather random numbers in your phone.
So as you go for Moonshot Day 2
Don’t overthink networking. Don’t perform it.
Just look for shared interest, genuine value, and let it flow.
