Are you feeling less worth when you're using references?

Once a close friend always blamed artist who used references. Btw we aren't friends anymore.
But she said it so often that I got negative effected by her "opinion".
And now I feel bad sometimes for taking a reference.

@Prookal You're getting all my support. My father is trans too and the intolerance back then in elementary school hitted me hard. Transphobic is a no go. Any phobia against a sexuality is a no go. Let people be how they are. 🙏

@mothbuns Yea I am totally with you. It's a need to have to actually understand and to learn. But yea. If a close friends is bashing her kinda bad mouthed opinion into your face several times you might feel shitty for doing so. I don't want to feel bad just because I want to learn ;-;

@WowzaDawg When I was younger I picked everything in german but idk, since I am like 16/17ish I started to pick English everywhere I could. I just realized that English is a thousand of times better and cooler than my native language lmao. But I am still a german potato who fails grammar 😂
