Most authors focus on getting seen
Few focus on what happens after they're seen
Visibility without a reader-capture system is like filling a bucket with a hole in the bottom
The goal isn't just attention.
It's turning attention into readers you can reach again.

@berichwithrich Facts.
Testing is where most people stop too early, then assume it “doesn’t work.”
Curious though, when you do find a platform that works, what’s your process for scaling it consistently?
@TaraRoss That’s great, Tara.
I like how you’ve combined content + direct access to your book in one place. That’s exactly how discoverability should work.
I’d love to connect further and exchange ideas on how authors can improve visibility and reader acquisition
@gabrielegobbo That’s a great feeling—when a book lets you fully disconnect from everything else.
Digitalosophy sounds like it captures that intersection between tech and reflection really well. Out of curiosity, what inspired you to explore that perspective?
Would love to stay connected
@concept21 That sounds intense, always interesting how new court/police details can shift how a story is understood.
Congrats on the paperback release as well. Do you usually find readers engage more with the investigative details or the human story behind it?
@shawnbrinkauth2 That’s a strong review, especially for a fantasy novel. “Unique storyline” is often what stays with readers the longest.
What part of the book did readers usually respond to the most worldbuilding, characters, or the core concept itself?
Would be great to connect and learn more
@EAAdams215490 Congrats on both books!
Out of curiosity, what’s been the bigger challenge for you so far: getting readers to discover Book One or converting them into buyers for Book Two?
Would love to connect more in DM and learn how you’re positioning the series.
@berichwithrich That’s a solid point.
I actually think writing is the harder craft, but marketing is what determines if anyone ever gets to experience it.
Curious, have you built any consistent system for getting your posts in front of the right readers?
@GCVA_Mcr@ManchesterUP Ever thought about creating a cinematic trailer for your book?
I've seen authors use them to help readers instantly connect with the story and generate interest before someone even opens the first page. Curious if you've ever explored that idea.
A reminder before you start writing today:
Your next reader is already online searching for something to read.
Will they find your book or someone else's?
Visibility isn't built in a day, but every step you take today compounds tomorrow
This week to grow your author platform?
Many authors spend months writing a book.
Very few spend time making sure readers can actually find it.
A great book deserves discoverability, not obscurity.
What's your biggest challenge right now: writing the book or getting readers to discover it? 👇
