No, instead dumb AI is leading us to the lowering standards in education and the arts; enabling deepfake porn, copyright theft, facial recognition & pre-crime surveillance; it is causing unemployment in the creative industries, the distortion of History with hallucinated facts, the contamination of art & music with slop, and the replacement of talent with tech managers. It is causing the shrinking of communication to generic corporate AI-assisted speech.

AI is making us all dumber and making our culture duller.
