Valve has formally announced that they will be sun-setting Valve Index. Coupled with this announcement is a new page where you can order the last remaining stock of certain Valve Index hardware. After these are out of stock, Valve Index will no longer be sold on Steam.

@cucumberworks I'm not sure I'd personally consider the speakers and battery modular in this case, they're both fixed to the strap itself.

If anything, I think the index technically had more modular speakers because they detached with one screw and no cables.

I had no interest in the vision peripheral, rarely even use pass-through on my index, but this seems potentially useful...

I keep hearing mixed reviews, but I've got a sneaking suspicion that the controllers are ok, and it ultimately comes down to personal preference + shape/size of people's hands

Though then again I don't think they've done any products (yet) for VR gear.

I just gotta say, I'm still having a hard time building stuff in blender... 3D modelling is a tricky thing to self-learn.

But I'm super proud of how this room turned out, it may be basic/broken in some areas, but I think the set is super recognisable :3
