Five days ago's #SongOfTheDay was Election Day by Blaze Foley. Given that five days ago was, well, election day, there were few songs that felt more appropriate (though certainly many songs that were more political) to play on my way to vote. (1/2)

Four days ago's #SongOfTheDay was I Want to Be with You by Sadness. This is an incredibly beautiful song, perfectly capturing the feelings of love and yearning, and in the midst of all the recent chaos has been a major calming factor in my life. (1/2)
