So happy to see rain finally falling in this part of South Kalimantan. I hope it helps bring the fires under control, gives the exhausted firefighters some relief and, most importantly, gives the wildlife and animals caught up in the fires a chance to survive ❤️

The mother pleaded with the court to stop her ex-husband from seeing their daughters. The judge denied her. He killed all three children. Yet somehow, the blame is still placed on the mother.
It is no surprise this article was written by a man.
Playing Yakuza Kiwami 3. It’s funny that Mine Yoshitaka is an asshole (killing&gifting Kanda’s -his own sworn brother- head to Kiryu, slapping a kid, tearing down an orphanage, stabbling people etc) and fans still LOOOVE him ever since the original Yakuza 3 😂

Jasmine once spent her days begging on the streets. Today, she is rediscovering her childhood. 💚
Jasmine spent decades giving rides to people, begging on the streets, and being paraded at events and ceremonies. Now, her days look a lot different. She loves spending time in the pond or pool (she's a total water baby!), spraying water with her trunk, digging little holes in the ground to scoop up mud, and taking mud baths.
It’s heartwarming to see Jasmine enjoy these simple pleasures and embrace the little things that make her happy. After decades of being made to work for people, she now has the time and space to explore, play, and do the things she enjoys most.
Jasmine’s story reminds us that elephants belong in the wild, not on busy streets, carrying people or being made to perform for entertainment. Watching her splash around in the pond is a reminder of all the natural behaviours they are forced to suppress when kept in captivity for human use, and of the joy they deserve to experience.
A little comfort after everything they’ve been through. 💚
Baby orangutan Satya rests in Karmele’s arms after being rescued alongside their mother from an area affected by forest fires in West Kalimantan.
The rescue was carried out by the Ministry of Forestry through BKSDA West Kalimantan, together with our partners, YIARI. Both were taken to YIARI’s rehabilitation centre for medical attention and care.
We are not angry enough. They're killing our endemic animals, burning our forests, stealing our minerals, polluting our rivers and air, poisoning our children, and here we are, living on thin shells.
WE ARE NOT ANGRY ENOUGH!!!!!
