I know people are upset and clowning the FINAL Black Clover chapters, but here’s some important context about the author and why he’s exhausted

• His wife was ill
• His daughter was ill
• A close friend passed away from illness
• He lost multiple editors who helped shape story decisions
• And on top of all that… Shueisha completely ran him into the ground

“During my trip to Barcelona, I was already behind on my Black Clover manuscript when I left, and I still couldn’t finish it while I was there.

So when I got back to Japan, they didn’t even let me go home. I had to stay in a hotel near Shueisha for four days until I finally managed to finish it.”

This man has one final volume left to wrap everything up. There are only so many pages and chapters he’s even allowed to use.
