Final Fantasy XVI has really cultivated a pretty cool sub group of fans who really enjoy it and don't feel the need to constantly push it as the best in the franchise.
Replaying it now and it's hitting so good this time around.
kind of insane that he ended up completely beating the allegation and making a fool out of the people accusing him of fraud just to not be able to adapt to current youtube metas and fall off
Given the population at the time, this would be roughly 3 burgers per year for the average American.
Even if people also went out a few more times to other places, that is, indeed quite rare. Especially by today's standards.
Every single attempt at this kind of thing so far has been absolutely embarrassing.
Personally? Loved it. Solid 7/10. Youve gotta be miserable not to enjoy something like this. Does it have pacing issues? Yeah. Are they trying to cram a million Nintendo references into one movie? Probably. But is it a bad movie? No. No, it is not. It was a genuinely fun time. Also, I definitely need more Star Fox.
Wound up wandering the mountains during a blizzard. Found some stone torches to light. Got attacked by a (or group of) floating glowing dude who threw black streams of energy at me. Couldn't figure out how to fight him. Jumped off the mountain to escape.

VFX artist Brian Runnels on Zack Snyder’s Cut / Justice League
“I worked on the movie while he was Directing and his "version" was not what he had in the cut. It was boring, lacked humor, his cut was not good: They gave him an out and he took it. Whedons cut was better, Zack's re-cut version was a third version that would've not been what people come to know as the Snyder cut. Hes revising history.”
The breakdown of modern relationships didn’t start yesterday. It began unraveling generations ago. Yet today’s men and women are the ones left carrying the blame. It’s strange to see a woman say something neutral and considerate about her husband’s preferences and immediately be told to ignore him and only prioritize what she wants. That isn’t partnership. It’s individualism pretending to be empowerment. Marriage has never worked on the principle of “I’ll always do whatever I want.” If that’s the mindset, it’s better not to get married at all. The rising divorce rates make that painfully clear. And for the record…The short hair propaganda sneaks up on you. Your husband is probably right.
@FAshor86067@GreciaIsMyName It definitely got more mixed reviews and the fan sentiment at the time was very sour... But Rises had two beloved films that came before it.
The franchise already had casual approval by then and was going to make money regardless of quality or what the nerds were mad about.
It took 4 years - 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 - and 5 movies to establish the MCU & key characters.
The DCU has had 3 projects in 15 months. By October this year, it will be 6.
CC, Superman, Peacemaker 2, Supergirl, Lanterns & Clayface. 3 major characters established in a year.
Most were perfectly content with letting "mommy and daddy" worry about politics and the state of the world because we were busy grasping onto a fantasy that was long dead.
Millennial here
My teen years were an isolating time because I was aware of current events and had political opinions and kids around me found me weird and off putting.
Millennials were mostly blind to the world and shunned those of us who were.
Something that breaks my heart as a Millennial is how fucking optimistic and fun our teenage years and 20s were. Like we envisioned a TOTALLY different world from the one that we've got and insanely divorced from what Gen-Z are experiencing. It's hard to put in words how fantastic we thought life was gonna be and how it seemed like we were making tangible social progress. We've had all of that ripped away from us
Millennials are very much to blame for the state of things just as much as older generations.
We want to pretend the entire generation was made up of political activists... But the truth is that there were only a small percentage of "woke" millennials.
