For those of you who choose order over chaos, here is a that shelf (from SPRING LANE VIDEO in Sanford, NC), that was alphabetized by two really cool volunteers / renters.
Spring Lane Video is real video store in NC, located inside Spring Lane Cinema. Check ‘em out nowwwww
Since everyone is talking about Blockbuster and the videos store again, check out my documentary about Why We Love The Video Store. Yes all naysayers we really do and did have those experiences you deny.
Underground film festivals are going strong in 2026. It’s been awesome seeing these two get started, and I’ve loved having the chance to contribute to the zines/programs for each
Can't get over our weekend screening of "Never Fingerbang a Wendigo" in Philly at the Blood Sick Underground Film Festival. My highest recommendation: Anyone with a taste for esoteric cinema, SOV, and the avant-garde should submit and/or attend next year. We received a great write up in the festival zine from @LunchmeatVHS; the number one destination for the appreciation, celebration, and preservation of VHS. It's nice to be recognized by kindred spirits who love analog aesthetics as much as we do. @BrewceLongo, everyone who helped put on the fest, and all the filmmakers who screened and participated, they're all doing the lord's work. I hope they keep Blood Sick going for years to come!

Now available for pre-order: the unpublished screenplay for Charles Pinion’s Killbillies, one of the great lost American underground films. Includes dozens of never-before-seen color photos and Charles’ reflection on the project: https://t.co/hsmwZx2RYe
Have to rewind a bit, but the art and design of the new edition of the @LunchmeatVHS Home Video Horrors calendar is too rad to not publicly screen! For January, we had The Video Dead!
The thing with SOV/regional/underground films is there’s a value in having to dig. I’ve spent years trying to find certain films, compiling research and any traces. Sending emails and letters just to get nothing back. Struggling to convince someone to digitize the sole VHS copy.
