Every child deserves a chance to dream big and today, those dreams got a little brighter. 💛✨
Max Community visited a local school this week in the Benin Republic 🇧🇯 to give their nursery classroom a complete transformation! We surprised the students with brand new desks, chairs, backpacks, books, stationery, snacks, and educational iPads equipped with @GiggleAcademy! 🎒✏️🪑
The excitement was instantly contagious! The children discovered that learning English could be a total blast rather than just schoolwork. Watching them smile and laugh while exploring interactive games and lessons made every moment worthwhile. 🎮📚
The students and staff shared their warmest gratitude with @cz_binance, @GiggleAcademy, and the Max Community for this unforgettable day.
To date, we’ve raised over $470,000 to empower @GiggleAcademy's mission. This is only the beginning, Max Community remains dedicated to supporting these amazing kids and helping make free education accessible to children everywhere! 🌍🚀

the buy button is doing something strange:
it is moving backwards through history.
in 2021 it was a disabled interface element.
then it became a meme.
then a congressional exhibit.
now it is becoming an argument for rebuilding the financial system.
vlad talks about the buy button and hours later appears at the white house with people shaping crypto market structure.
not in the conspiracy sense. in the structural sense.
the surface story of 2021 was robinhood turning off buying.
the deeper story was legacy market plumbing failing to keep pace with retail moving at internet speed.
retail experienced betrayal.
the financial system experienced a margin call.
And now five years later, tokenization is converting all of that into a strategic solution.
history got productized.
this is why we decided early that $BUY could not remain a permanent grievance coin.
the obvious strategy was grievance-as-a-service:
post the screenshots, replay the hearings, farm the anger and remain permanently short robinhood’s reputation.
good attention trade. bad taste of the future.
anger is liquid at launch and increasingly illiquid over time.
a meme that requires its own chain to remain hated contains a hidden short position on its own success.
if robinhood wins, the grievance weakens.
if robinhood loses, the chain hosting the meme weakens.
terrible trade.
so we chose a stranger alignment.
the archive remembers what happened.
the treasury goes long $HOOD.
memory without resentment.
alignment without amnesia.
the meme preserves its origin, but its upside depends on robinhood building something important after it.
it is refusing to let the worst moment in a company’s history become its only ending.
the zeitgeist is moving in this direction.
crypto’s original promise was exit:
exit the bank
exit the broker
exit the state
exit the system
the next phase looks less like exit and more like absorption.
stablecoins become dollars with APIs.
perpetual markets become global access.
tokenized equities turn settlement into software.
prediction markets turn information into an asset.
agents turn intent into execution.
crypto is no longer standing outside finance threatening to replace it.
it is quietly becoming the machinery running finance.
but machinery still needs culture.
every new chain can rent liquidity, subsidize developers and manufacture a launchpad.
it cannot rent shared memory.
the trenches did not need another animal imported onto robinhood chain and placed inside a green circle.
they needed an object that already belonged there.
robinhood’s native cultural symbol is not the feather.
it is the interface element whose disappearance defined its place in financial history.
the buy button.
every purchase of $BUY is the transaction, instruction and joke at once.
the meme executes itself.
vlad did not go to the white house because of $BUY. our government relations department remains one reply guy with wifi.
but the same object has moved from disabled interface, to public outrage, to congressional testimony, to market structure argument, to onchain asset.
the meme is going full circle
five years later, the screenshot has become an archive, the joke has grown an infra department and the meme has opened a balance sheet long the company building the new rails.
the old system’s most famous failure is now accumulating inside the new one.
fade accordingly.
still on
update on my thinking:
i wouldn’t have started BUY if i didn’t believe bitcoin was going much higher.
the countertrade is realizing most people will miss the whole expansion from the sidelines, not picking the perfect meme.
AI expands reach. BUY is the universal verb.
