@AlinaV_Psy @JDaviesPhD Like Alina, I agree with big parts, but like many similar critiques, they assume that those seeking diagnosis will then see it as static, fixed and inherent, which I really don't buy. In the online advocacy, I haven't seen anyone claim that these disabilities are fixed.

@willowtv_canada why so many adverts for paying subscribers? it's so unfair. Every time I minimize the screen on the app and then return to the match and I have to watch another ad. Every time I select a match, more ads. It makes us miss live action.

It was great to have a panel on the future of African studies in Europe with actual Africans on the panel at #ecas2023. If they were European, the answer would have been of course there's a future because our careers and privileges depend on it. #restitution

What visa assistance did #ecas2023 provide to African students and scholars? Organizers please be very specific about exactly what help was given. Also, what attempts to include those who couldn't travel via hybrid technology which we are all used to anyway? #restitution

How many African students and scholars were funded to attend #ecas2023? How many global north scholars were funded to attend? 1/4 Africans present is not even close to good enough. Budget transparency for these events an NB part of #restitution
