« People are looking for respect in the job that they are doing, and in the community they’re living in, and that’s much, much more dominant than the financial incentive » Nobel Laureate Esther Duflo Says https://t.co/BWkR2yZSZY
@LizLund12@NHSEngland I’m guessing it’s because their CRM system isn’t fully integrated with patient records, so much easier doing a mass mail out to everyone of the relevant age?
On the other hand It could be interesting to repeat this with topics other than self-help and find out how much of the blogosphere is full of meaningless waffle that can’t be distinguished from content generated by an #AI unable to understand meaning. #GPT3#NLP
A college kid's fake, AI-generated blog fooled tens of thousands, illustrating the dangers of this technology. “It was super easy, actually, which was the scary part.” https://t.co/yMhDAej578
Bias is a big problem in #AI. Predictions reflect data used for training. With images of women with duct tape over their mouth being more common than men, even the best CV models are more likely to identify a woman as wearing duct tape rather than PPE. 👇 https://t.co/hWpprPlBRs

@LizLund12 Interesting that U.K., Spain, Italy have pop density per km sq of 279, 93, 200 respectively, compared to 34 and 23 for USA and Sweden. Geography maybe playing a part here.
Interesting comparisons of different countries excess deaths associated with #COVID19 pandemic corrected for population size show UK, Spain and Italy much worse than USA or Sweden. See Dashboard https://t.co/rfEp0DbqGe, @lundrm
I would love to be in on the @Specsavers PR team Zoom call this morning. Someone just said, “I vote we do nothing at all and just sit back for 48hrs and let the memes roll in.” And they tossed their pen down with dramatic flourish. #DominicStays
According to this cubic model of the coronavirus pandemic, the dead will walk again starting on Sunday. By the end of the summer all the people who have ever lived will have returned to us. I know it's surprising but the fit is *excellent*.
