Gautam Adani is finally going to go for a 'settlement' with SEC.

This normally means a payment to US Government of about 3 to 4 times the fraud amount.

The fraud amount is 750 Million. Four times that will be around 3000 Million or 3 Billion.

That is around 3 x 9200 Crores (27,600 Crores with INR at 92 Rupees per USD).

That is small change.

But it is also admission of guilt although the terms of 'settlement' will remain private.

He might be prevented from accessing US markets again anytime soon.

But then there are ways to circumnavigate these hurdles.

What is important is that after denying any wrongdoing, Adani is going for a settlement.

Why is he going for a settlement?

The answer is that any challenge in the court will open a can of worms and do much bigger damage than paying the 3 Billion US Dollars damage.

What is the verdict then?

Adani is a corrupter.

And Narendra Modi is his protector.

Thus Narendra Modi is accessory to the crime of bribery committed by Gautam Adani.
