Just wanted to share a story I first read in 2012 that has inspired my life in many ways.
Every time I read it I ask myself why I spend so much time in front of my screen chasing digital money.

When I quit my 9-5 job one year ago one colleague said:
"I guess you're quitting this job because you're tired of it. Look, I hate this job too. But damn, you're a lazy shit".
I don't know about you, but I think it's pretty lazy to live a life you hate and do nothing about it.
The point of financial freedom isn't necessarily to quit your 9-5.
The point of financial freedom is to have the means to walk away from any situation (work or otherwise) you no longer want to be in.
Me: "Do you invest in crypto?
Friend: "Invest in crypto? I don't want to lose my money, man...that stuff is risky!".
Instead, my friend proceeds to incur a 100% loss by spending all of his money on new tech gadgets every month.
Well, I guess that's normal and not risky?!
If you think taking risks in crypto is painful, imagine laying on your deathbed regretting having stayed in a job you hated for 40+ years and doing nothing about it.
Freedom in 2022:
• Work for yourself
• Able to travel when you want
• Healthy lifestyle
• No Alarm Clock
• Living mostly bankless
• Lots of time with family & friends
• Time to read lots of books
• Enough passive income
• Time to help others achieve their goals
