Maryka Kleynhans (31) dies on the side of a road in Mpumalanga in 2019 after being in a vehicle with SAPS captain Awie Geldenhuys. Her parents are not contacted that night, they find out the next morning.

What happened in that vehicle is still being examined.

After her death, IPID investigates. Geldenhuys is dismissed in 2019… then reinstated in 2023 after arbitration.

But the story doesn’t end there.

Allegations linked to Awie Geldenhuys span decades and multiple towns, including rape, sexual assault and other misconduct, some reported while he was still in uniform.

In November 2025, Geldenhuys is arrested.

Geldenhuys now faces 36 charges:
11 rape, 2 attempted rape, 5 sexual assault, 4 indecent assault, 13 assault GBH, 1 crimen injuria.

He has not pleaded. Bail was denied in the Middelburg Magistrates Court last week. An appeal is coming.

[CHILD PORNOGRAPHY] This week, joint operations between the SAPS, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Department of Homeland Security led to the arrest of two suspects for sexual grooming, possession, downloading, manufacturing and distribution of child pornography in different parts of Gauteng.

In the first operation, on Thursday, 12 December 2024 members from both the national and Gauteng provincial Serial and Electronic Crime Investigations (SECI) Unit and Forensic Social Work (FSW) together with the FBI acted on information supplied through an international tip line.

Investigation led the team to an address in Vanderbijlpark where they arrested a 49-year-old man who sexually groomed, sexually assaulted and raped his girlfriend's 15-year-old daughter.

In another takedown, on Friday, 13 December 2024 the team arrested a 41-year-old suspect, a former teacher and school principal in Pretoria on charges of exposing children to adult pornography and sexual grooming of boys between the ages of ten and twelve. Three victims have been positively identified thus far, a further six victims are yet to be traced.

In this operation, the multi-disciplinary team comprised of members from the national and Gauteng provincial SECI Unit and the Pretoria Central Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit in collaboration with the Department of Homeland Security.

In both matters, the teams seized various electronic devices suspected of containing sexual child abuse images and videos, or commonly known as child pornography.

Both these suspects are expected to appear before the Pretoria Central Magistrates' Court and Vanderbijlpark Magistrates' Court on 17 December 2024 respectively.

The state will oppose bail in both matters.

BREAKING NEWS: The ANC minister of agriculture, land reform and rural development Thoko Didiza, unlawfully laid off more than 5000 South African Graduates in all 9 provinces.

5000 Agricultural graduate were employed by the Department of Agriculture for 7 months after signing a 3 years contract, they have been trying to get their attention by submitting their memorandum to the ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa who like Thoko ignored their requests.

ANC is promising South Africans jobs while they enforce unemployment behind closed doors, Panyaza Lesufi has also done the same with 8000 Healthcare workers.

It is alleged that Thoko Didiza is using the budget allocated to the 5000 Agriculture Graduates to fund unrelated Bidvest security training.

ANC is forcing qualified graduates to unemployment while president Ramaphosa is going around checking up on illegal foreigners who are killing South Africans.

#OperationDudula has expressed their intention to help 5000 Agriculture Graduates to get their jobs back from Thoko Didiza, they have vowed to stop the corruption carried out by ANC deployed cadres.
