Interesting choice for Xie Lian to say “我承诺，永安的人，永不得安！” He says 承诺 (promise) instead of 发誓 (swear/vow), which has a more binding and spiritual context. To me it's a sign that Calamity!Lian still isn't fully committed to his plan for revenge.

@dirtywle This seems like volume three of the novel after the coma from the shooting, Lu Feng takes care of him and Yi Chen has a shop and Lu Feng is there for him on his best behavior (slowly patching their relationship up too)
