Imo this isn't a very digital native way in understanding how the (digital) world has shifted. Bots run the internet and it has been that way for a while now; think email inboxes, automated traders, endless invisible scripts running the internet - it's all for the bots now. The answer isn't trying to make bots/agents more human by enforcing human-like rules (why does any agent care about "time off"?), it's prob in accepting the tension btwn preserving our own humanity while letting bots be bots
Sometimes I'm even convinced that AI is so "smart" and AI is so "conscious" and AI is so "scary" until it puts a 60-minute recovery run day after unilateral leg day on a workout plan
I am reading Philip K Dick in between prompts; I am scrolling SSENSE and auction sites and playing 1:1 ranked Catan; I am watching music videos on Youtube with my third eye; I am feeling deeply; I am forgetting how to code and remembering how to exist in my computer flow state
