@MJGold@GrandSlamTrack Results for full field on screen for more than 5 seconds. Different post race interview structure - less generic. Let athletes celebrate - victory lap, celebrate with supports (F1).
@MJGold No - give deeper context. Is it a fast year in that event? Slow year in the event? How much of the season is left?
Relate it to something bigger that every level of fan can understand!
@brady_h Interesting! The running world could use a refresh that bridges the gap between runners world reviews and podiatry bias.
If I can help with any in depth knowledge of materials or manufacturing I’d be happy to. It’s usually good context to how a shoe gets built a certain way!
@brady_h Nice race! Really solid “rust buster”
Based on those splits it looks to me like you’re primed for a jump in fitness for your next race effort!
@brady_h@realcoachcane Additional problem is consistency. Kipchoge has proven to be more consistent at the marathon than almost anyone. The likelihood of me having an off day is much higher than him. Another variable to consider when buying miles for myself.
@TheRealMerb@TheLapCount@EmmanuelAcho Those other sports mentioned (NBA and NFL) have the benefit of being one cohesive league - so all competition happens within a set schedule and is paid for/supported fully.
So what counts in track? Diamond League? ATL? What about a random BTC x OTC dual meet?
@TheRealMerb@TheLapCount@EmmanuelAcho A problem with that is then the debate or specification of which meets count toward your total and which don’t. We seen this in other point warning situations before and it’s can get messy.
