This lady has a point!
BBS Mall in Eastleigh, Nairobi Kenya, might be the biggest in East and Central Africa, but it is run like a kiosk!!
People who come to spend money at your facility deserve to be respected…
The management should do something!!
Those 3 North Eastern counties have received over 500B since 2013, interesting part is that there's no single MRI machine in public hospitals.
Patients hukuja hadi Nairobi to get the service.
Meanwhile their leaders are busy building flats in Eastleigh.
We must first talk about garbage and the bigger environmental challenges Nairobi suffers from. It feels ironic to hold big conversations about e-mobility when the city is still failing at the most basic environmental issues.
Garbage is not being collected, drains are blocked, rivers, unroadworthy vehicles, polluted raw sewage flows in some areas, and waste is openly burnt in residential neighbourhoods. Our pavements, if we have any are dirty, green spaces are disappearing, and enforcement is almost non-existent. These are everyday problems that affect people’s health and dignity.
It is fair to ask how well e-mobility is really understood in practice. If the county cannot fix simple environmental problems, what confidence should the public have in its ability to handle something as complex as e-mobility?
You cannot talk about clean air while ignoring dirty water and public spaces. You cannot push sustainability from the top when the basics on the ground are broken.
E-mobility will matter, but it should not be turned into the usual TikTok theatrics. Fix the basics first, then the bigger environmental conversations will make sense.
Clueless people talking about e-mobility is quite a joke, anyway, have a pizza on me. 🍕
Hello @Cofek_Kenya,
You MUST stand up for consumers forced to buy carrier bags branded with the company name. This forces consumers to promote the brand while still being charged.
Branded bags must be given for free and plain or customized bags charged at point of sale.

We wrapped up an incredible three days at the 7th KAMMP Annual Scientific Conference, held from October 14–16, 2025 at PrideInn Paradise Resort in Mombasa. The event brought together over 300 passionate participants from across Kenya, along with distinguished visitors from FIMA member countries. The energy, knowledge-sharing, and camaraderie among KAMMP members were truly inspiring.
Heartfelt congratulations to the KAMMP leadership team spearheaded by Abdallah Bajaber (National Secretary General) and Dr. Faraj Amir (Conference Chair & National Treasurer) plus the entire organizing committee and volunteers for delivering a wonderfully organized, impactful conference. May Allah SWT reward them abundantly.
My sincere appreciation also goes to our partners, sponsors, and dignitaries who made this year’s gathering vibrant and memorable. Special mentions to our Guests of Honor:
⭐ H.E. FCPA Ahmed Abdullahi, E.G.H., Governor of Wajir County & Chair of the Council of Governors, who joined us for the closing ceremony.
⭐ Prof. Shaukat Abdulrazak, Principal Secretary for Science, Research, and Innovation, who officiated the opening ceremony on Saturday.
⭐ Dr. Omar Ahmed, Director of Health Sector Coordination & Research, Ministry of Health, representing Cabinet Secretary Hon. Adan Duale.
⭐ H.E. Witjaksono Adji, Ambassador of Indonesia to Kenya, who graced our Saturday Gala & Networking Dinner as Chief Guest.
It has been an honor and privilege to serve as KAMMP President this year, being my first in a two-year term.
Kenya Association of Muslim Medical Professionals (KAMMP) was founded in 1998 as an independent, professional, charitable, not-for-profit, and non-political association committed to:
✅ Providing a platform for Muslim medical professionals to align healthcare practice with Islamic values and principles.
✅ Promoting unity, welfare, and professional growth among Muslim medics in Kenya.
✅ Educating healthcare professionals on Islamic ethics in medicine.
✅ Raising public awareness on emerging health trends and on preventive and promotive health.
✅ Supporting communities through medical care, humanitarian assistance, and relief work.
The past couple of years has seen a revival of KAMMP by a new generation of Muslim health professionals as the Community has grown exponentially poised to play a more central role in the National and International stages.
I look forward to strengthening collaborations with all members and partners as we continue advancing the noble mission of KAMMP, with even greater activities ahead, insha’Allah.
