First day in the books with playing #WutheringWaves and I wanted to provide some initial thoughts.
1. The gameplay is top notch and feels even better than I expected.
2. Story so far is good. It's a bit of a Rollercoaster in a good way. Tense moments mixed with slice of life.

@phantomloxx I like to believe that it is just a place holder for the gacha at the moment, knowing the kuro I don't think the will pull something like this on release. Especially when both weapon and character are in the same pool fighting for a 50/50 💀

Y'all need to calm down and not judge the game so hastily base off the gacha system. This is the FIRST close beta and it is the time to give feed backs and changes that we want so the developers can improve on the game. Please have patience and stop overreacting.

Seems like they are moving away from standard "farming" for better gear, by hunting monsters to improve your character's stat.
Ie. Harder monster gives better stat/ effect
Gives player incentive to explore and fight harder enemies.
