After trying for 2 years I finally caught a fish on it.

@DBoczek78 We fished from Lock 19 all the way up to Lakefield that day. I fished the locks quite often from 2019-2023 and it was such easy fishing compared to what it is now.

Did my first pontoon rental of the season with some friends last weekend and for some reason we went back to Lower Buckhorn.
The fishing wasn’t great as expected but I caught a few bass and a nice walleye on the NLW Chippawa RB BL.

My grandfather had this car in the exact same colour when I was growing up.
He eventually sold it in 2007 and I’ve never seen a similar one till now.
He passed away last October after battling through two strokes over 16 years. Brings back memories.

On the way back to Toronto we stopped by Hamilton and I had to pull out the Jackall King Jimmy Henge to save the day.

First time fishing the Niagara Whirlpool and I miraculously caught zero fish. Unbelievable I know.

My 21 Zillion SV TW ended up succumbing to the clutch issue that seems to have plagued many owners as well. Daiwa needs to make the spring a lot stronger.
And for the record the spring part in the right hand model is actually different from the left hand model.

I fished my first bass tournament this July on Lower Buckhorn lake. Caught most of my keepers on the NLW BQ Frog while my boater did some heavy punching.
Ended up placing 5th which wasn’t too bad considering my boater had never fished the lake before.
