Today is the first day of Keshia Golden’s murder trial.

Keshia was 8 months pregnant when she was attacked by her abuser, during which he slammed her head against the kitchen counter.

She stabbed him in the leg and ran.

He died.

Prosecution initially offered a plea deal with no jail time.

They know she’s not a murderer.

She turned it down because she works in healthcare and a feeling would bar her from her career.

She deserves to live the rest of her life without having to face life long consequences for being a victim.

Her child deserves a free mother.
