A total of 178 ballistic missiles and 384 drones have been detected and intercepted since the start of the Iranian aggression on Kuwait, country's Ministry of Defense said in a statement early Tuesday.

Ministry Spokesman Col Saud Al-Atwan said that 27 members of the Kuwaiti army have been injured since the start of operations, adding that they are in stable condition though two individuals remain under medical treatment.

He reassured that the Kuwaiti Armed Forces are on high alert and operating with high efficiency around the clock, noting that there is constant and meticulous monitoring of all developments.

The spokesperson urged citizens and residents to obtain information only from official sources, refrain from circulating rumors or unverified video clips on social media, and uphold national responsibility through awareness and commitment during this period.
