Over the past few days, I’ve received a wave of death wishes, threats and hate from (self-proclaimed) “Afrikaner”, “Christian”, “family-loving”, “patriotic” individuals just because I’ve been sharing positivity about South Africa and challenging misinformation. It’s ironic, isn’t it? The same people who claim to stand for love, faith and peace are the ones spreading the most hate. A lot of these narratives being peddled about our country don’t rely on facts, they rely on being repeated. They’re meant to shut down other opinions and thought. And when someone questions this, they become a target. This lot isn’t interested in conversation, they want confirmation. And they won’t get that from me. 🇿🇦❤️
