@Romanos911@HabemusMalleum The cope from the orthodox boomer is “we don’t agree with everything a saint says” I’ve noticed there is a trend to just throw that around generally. I will always appeal to the saints, and only to an orthodox priest insofar as they appeal to the saints
Tsar Nicholas II was one of the greatest rulers of the 20th century & the protocols are obviously true. It’s time to get over this boomer view of history
@Orthodoxxy_com@GnomeRad American converts say the most insane things about saints.. and with this blind assurance too. It’s bizarre. Do they even catechize people for at least 3 years in the USA? That is the proper way. It really really really seems like they do not
@Magpie_Hunter@OrthroAug You are correct. ROCOR has been a beacon of hope in many ways, not perfect but very good. The issue is not simply liberals either. It's a protestanized Americanism Orthodoxy that some try to push. Example 1: Commemorating a non-Orthodox president.
@OrthroAug Those prayers are for the Emperor, not a sitting president who is non orthodox. A sitting president can be prayed for in private. The non-orthodox are not suppose to be commemorated during the Liturgy, it's very simple.
@OrthodoxPole81 she's non orthodox though. You act surprised she has these views... The best we can do is be a better example to anyone outside of the Church, according to the saints and their teachings.
Mass Baptism at Orthodox church in Oregon
https://t.co/VvisgGr1ar
Another mass Baptism took place this past weekend, on the feast of Pentecost, as has been happening regularly across America.
In this month when people celebrate their distorted identities, we will ask intercessions of saints such as Fr. Seraphim Rose and St. Paisios of Mt. Athos
🚨🇷🇺 Putin vows full support for those sharing traditional values in relocating to Russia
People who share traditional values and face pressure in their own countries will be granted full support if they decide to relocate, work, and raise children in Russia, President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with families on Children's Day
@Postulliok The correct response would be it’s not cannibalism because God is Life, we consume Life not dead flesh. He is eternally alive. This is somewhere in the Lives of Saints on this very topic 🙏🏻☦️
@countrybuns@wigger A Protestant would take Scripture out of context text, and self interpret. You guys think when Christ said I came not to bring peace but a sword He’s talking about guns. That’s how retarded Protestantism is
Hitting your kids is in the same category as circumcision, iPads, strict adherence to the CDC vaccine schedule---it is for Ns, goyim, and walmart pajama people. It lowers IQ (Straus, 1995), increases aggression (Gershoff, 2016), is less effective than a timeout, and requires escalation to keep working. The replies to articles like this are filled up with the Dumbest People Who Ever Existed saying "it worked for me" and then genuinely malicious and hateful morons dropping reaction gifs of like daffy duck swinging a belt
"EVERY STATE IN AMERICA ALLOWS YOU TO PHYSICALLY CORRECT YOUR CHILD. It's legal. It's fun. Bring it on." -- profile says: Cat Sanctuary Dad. Unyielding steel. Workouts, keto, cat chaos, anime rants. Godzilla, Gundam, Mazinger, Ultraman, classical art, manga.
If you hit your kids, you will create permanent emotional distance with the only person/people you could ever be that close to, not to mention sending them down the road of being as much of a lost fuckup loser as you are who will hit their own kids, or wont, but only after spending a decade figuring out why they reflexively apologize all the time.
